Unclaimed ASR reward to go to next round

That is a great idea. I think it incentivizes an active community and brings more of a spotlight on the Jupiter DAO. It may be short term but let’s be honest once your in this community your in for life haha.

i had no idea that there eas a time limit. Rewards should not expire!

Unfortunately everything is final. The point of ASR is the active was to it.

I’m so sorry about your car crash. Is everything okay? Hoping for speedy recovery.

You aren’t alone. There was like 8m JUP unclaimed from ASR

Ik Meow and the team are reading this post. He mentioned it on yesterday’s planetary call with all our suggestions.

I think it’s very likely people will vote for MORE ASR’s rather than the burn option.

Yes they should. It’s ACTIVE staking rewards.

We want people to actively vote for the future of JUP!

I agree with the 3 Billion burn already reallocating to the ACTIVE community would be more beneficial in my opinion as well.

30 days are more than enough for a claiming period (with very very rare exceptions)

I’m going to have to disagree with you lochie2001. A 30 day claim period is not reasonable and when voting there was not an option for a longer window. 90 days seems fair and reasonable.

Yes. Absolutely. Did you miss the window as well?

Agreed with the proposal @lochie2001 and catdets should have until the end of next season (90 days to claim), seems fair given people vote for 90 days and there are mitigating circumstances as others have outlined above.

Yes I agree.

@0xSoju mentiomed to me in a previous post while ago that for LFG1.0 the winning tokens teams were told to launch their token within 3 months.

Obv a couple of projects have not which sucks.

But timing is important for them.

Sooner or later they will arrive

Define active ? I have voted all proposal so i’m active just never heard of a claiming window

Then that would not be active according to my definition.
In fact I’d expect an active dao member to be chatting 4-5 times a week in chat tbh.

That’s just my opinion.

That’s right. Put your time where your money is or where you expect to get PPP outcomes. Time put in should be somehow proportionate to how much you value the project. If everyone just came and voted, what’s the need of the DAO/research forum. There should be debates, discussions and some sort of consensus around key issues prior to votes and also non-vote related proposals. Several proposals are in the DAO soliciting feedback. How does the DAO & Jup ecosystem improve if no one engages with these stakeholders to help shape their ideas that are mainly aimed towards improving the ecosystem? You only attain that by engaging regularly in ongoing debates/topics. Glad there are some indicators embedded in the system that reflects how much time and input people contribute in the system. That in itself when measured against others can tell anyone if they are active or not active enough. That will be a nice way for anyone to check how active they are.

That’s is an underrated point.

Time is worth its value in gold.

Putting in work for someone is worth more than gifting someone finance in general.

That’s why people are faced with the dliema “would you rather 5 mins to talk to Elon musk or $10k”

This is also a great point.

I literally raised this in my call with Irish last night.

We as a dao become a “rubber stamp” or “yes men” if we don’t actively critique the future of the dao.

People forgot ASR CONTROLS THE FUTURE OF THE DAO AND JUP AS A PRODUCT :speaking_head:
