Proposal Summary: Currently, any unclaimed ASR are left unused. I propose that these unclaimed rewards be pooled and added to the reward pool for the next distribution round.
Rationale:
Maximizing Value: By rolling over unclaimed ASR, we ensure that the total rewards available are fully utilized, maximizing the value distributed to our active stakers.
Enhanced Participation: This change could incentivize more users to participate actively in the staking process, knowing that missed rewards will benefit the community in subsequent rounds.
Community Trust: Demonstrating our commitment to maximizing returns for all stakers can strengthen trust and loyalty within our community.
Implementation:
Pooling Mechanism: At the end of each ASR claim period, any unclaimed rewards will be automatically transferred to the next round’s reward pool.
Transparent Reporting: Ensure clear communication and transparency regarding the amount of rolled-over rewards and the subsequent impact on the next distribution.
I believe this proposal aligns with our goals of fostering a thriving and engaged staking community. I kindly request your consideration and feedback on this idea and look forward to discussing it further in the upcoming DAO meeting.
@Slorg has just mentioned that they will go to dao treasury, and im not gonna lie im a little disappointed…
I Tweeted the following “Why put it in dao treasury? I thought we agreed on J4J 50% team 50% community? The treasurer will just end up funding work groups…” x.com
Am i wrong in saying that this is NOT what the community wants. If we have been told that the JUP is going to the community we EXPECT ALL OF IT. If people didnt claim, its on them, but putting into treassury is just gonna end up funding the already overpaid WG"s.
This is not fud in any way, in fact Cadets should embrace this feedback. But im am extremely disapointted in this result.
SO what should happen then?
It goes to second round of voting “pooling”.
It should be airdroped to those who claimed (proportionally to this % of vote)
I just think if ASR is allocated to cadets and they don’t claim, that same amount should be added the next round of reallocation and get redistributed. We shouldn’t be mixing these rewards with anything else. Let it end up in the hands of those who can claim it.
Hard to say what the reason is tho, but I can not imagine that 20% are zoned out.
I mean to be fair and reasonable, a lot countries have school holidays currently, and even those without kids, I hear quite often from colleagues and friends that they are somewhere right now, enjoying sun, culture and food at some nice place that makes me jealous.
