RWA featuring wines. Just wow! I’m really excited to it. Cheers to the people behind this project. I will definitely support this.
@gemini8888 Thanks! We are excited to have your support!
This is one of the strongest projects that I have seen on both Solana and in the RWA and DePin space for a while.
As a wine lover myself, I am excited to see how blockchain is connecting something I love with the power to earn money too.
Interesting to see that wine is one of the biggest asset classes and yet not many projects are focusing on it. I will for sure be following this project!
Great article! Making sure people understand and feel comfortable using $VIN tokens is going to be key, and I’m sure dVIN is up to the task. With the right resources and support, this could become second nature for users. I’m excited to see how dVIN will roll out educational tools and maybe even some fun incentives to help people get started. This has the potential to make a big impact!
Amazing! Can’t wait to start collecting Wine Tokens with my wine lover friends.
@jemende You cna get started right now. Our “points” program to qualify for a $VIN airdrop actually lets you tokenize bottles at home and open them to share with friends 4 bottles, 4 friends, 40k points!
You cna find the Cellar Challenge by signing in here: https://dvin.app
Thanks @Kimmy We’ve been really humbled by the support of the Jupiter community - both here and on the GUM (Giant Unified Market) initiative, where we are one of the initial projects. Thanks to the Jupiter Community!
@crf_crypto thanks! $VIN is also an opportunity to bring your crypto-skeptical friends and family into the web3 world and the Solana community.
Welcome them to web3 with a glass of champagne! With the dVIN protocol, wine lovers have the ability to mint Tasting Tokens - with $VIN - to anyone they share a bottle of wine with. Claiming the Tasting Token and $VIN is dead simple - just a tap your phone or scan a QR code scan, and in 5 seconds we’ll build a new account and wallet, mint a Tasting Token, and issue $VIN. And all of this happens with the blockchain/crypto part way behind the scenes.
Show your normie/civilian friends and family that crypto is just like airmiles, but you earn it by drinking wine! It’s a win(e)-win. Not just for wine lovers, but for the whole web3 and Solana ecosystem.
I’ve joined your spaces, and I’m really loving the positive vibes here! About the app, those early feedback rounds are going to be key before the big launch. Looking forward to it! and to celebrate with some champagne!
Bullish. This is a great and relatable use case. Looking forward to following along on your journey.
Well there you have it, an actual ecosystem model built for something that fits the model!
Bravo!
Sarson was right !
Love this! I’m a fan of wine, a fan of loyalty tokens, sign me up!
If only the airlines would adopt this model! Well done!
I think the tokenized wiskey project on Casper would be interned in using this platform. Really all spirit producers. Do you see this expanding beyond wine?
Hove you thought of including degods community?
@maratrujillo Thanks for the note! And if you have any feedback on the app or UX please feel free to DM me here or on X.
One important thing to remember about what we are building is that it’s not an app, it’s an ecosystem. The app you see when you go to https://dvin.app is just a lightweight version we built to show off the technology and to get users excited and used to how Digital Corks and Tasting Tokens work.
By the end of 2024 we will have. white label platform where any winemaker or retailer will be able to brand their own version of the app with their own look and feel, and by Q2 of 2025 our APIs will allow anyone to build any kind of app on the protocol. Most winemakers will want to build Digital Corks and Tasting Tokens - and $VIN - into their existing UX for their customers.
It is not our intention to come between a winemaker (or a retailer) and their customers. We are building the base layer and the tools to connect the entire industry.
@Hey_Sol_Sister thanks for the note - we’d love to speak with the dogods community. Please feel free to DM me here or on X. Thanks!
@Hey_Sol_Sister we talk a lot with the Solana-based whiskey/spirits project Baxus. We love what they are doing. I think there might be elements of what we do that could be interesting for Whiskey, but I think we have a lot of work to do in the $1T wine asset class before we start thinking about other avenues.
@michaels consider yourself signed up! Go to https://dvin.app and create an account and play with the Cellar Challenge. Tokenize some bottles from home, open them with friends and earn XP towards a $VIN airdrop. 4 bottles, 4 friends = 40k XP!
@Marcissism we love the Sarson guys! Thanks for the note!
