Thatās the thing I love about jupuary
Yes, we stick to the teams plans and they way they want to distribute
But they literally took on community feedback (they didnāt have to itās a gift)

If you stated after November 2 you will not get any

Very important that people get reminded about the snapshot period for Jupuary qualification. Some people might get very upset cos they missed most of the initial debates or donāt follow ongoing conversations around this. Imagine those whoāve still tried to tick all these boxes hoping that the cut off date might not be stringent etc! Think the team has made it abundantly clear. Folks like myself missed the 1st Jupuary so I got a good idea of snapshot means snapshot.

Iām not sure if this is really an area to be trying to one-up somebody, but there isnāt a chance in hell you were trading with your entire crypto portfolio if youāve been liquidated 500 times.

This doesnāt hold much weight, although people may & do use advanced means to āfarmā im sure.
I swap everyday, Its 99% of my JUP use. the other 1-5% is Perps. Ive done close to 10Million in swaps this year and thatās an honest $250 of my paycheck a week if your wondering about how much of my Hard earned money gores into JUP. I basically input $250 weekly and then swap to various other tokens from SOL. This is 100% organic. so for people who would like a solid reference, $10,000 a Yr would equal 10 million, at least in my case.

Wellā¦ using Jupiter daily shows that you are a quality user. Consistency should prime over volume.
What I donāt understand, why your 10k investment during the year gets more weight than my 50k investment in perps?
Obviously you have not generated more fees. Obviously my investment is way bigger than your investment.
You did your thing, I did my thing. We both used Jupiterā¦

First of all I never said my investment was only 10k , I prob have an organic 90k loss to perps also. If I used leverage as a criteria it would be in the very high millions.
So We both should have some level of compensation (gift) from our perp use also.

Highly agree here. The team is great at weeding out Bot accounts & farmers as there are many signs, Like the swapping from USDC to USDT and so on, Clearly people who are more consistent usually mean there more organic. I have no worries with this as the team does a great job finding the āfarmersā.
There was 1 knucklehead who publicly tried to say he had a friend āFarmā for this years JUP airdrop and racked up some serious Volume, I hope they know who he is as he openly farmed and bragged about it.

I never said my 50k (collateral) in perps was my only investment.
The idea here is, volume only should not count as a criteria. If you want to keep quality users and grow the community with quality users, the team should focus on the time of platform usage, fees paid, numbers of products used.
Using volume as a criteria is what every other crypto project does when it comes about an airdrop.

I also never said you should or should not receive a gift. There are more than a few users here who feel they should be heavily compensated for their Volume, Perps - While throwing a tantrum when another user gets compensation for Volume, Perps & additional Feature usage. That is totally absurd & selfish of them.

This is actually true a user to me even looking at it from a non based angle and I am based is someone who uses the exchange a lot. Volume alone is not a good indicator but should also play a role not though a sole role

I Imagine the person I mention above is also the type who likes his own comments & yet wouldnāt like an obvious well rounded comment from someone else. No need to cry I get what I get and in the end I still continue to be positive and move the JUPIVERSE forward. I donāt need the bonus, I would survive without it. But obviously I feel I Earned it and am Very Grateful for the Teams recognition & hard work in rewarding my loyalty, along with the others who they feel deserve Jupuary bonus.
