LFG BMP happy to have you with us on this journey!
Do I understand correctly that programmers set out to train people? That is, you first built an economy, managing finances, are building a social community, and now you’ve also moved into teaching? Maybe you will also go into politics or start building houses?
What are you going to teach people? Do you have a plan or method of education? Or will you throw all the responsibility onto the poor students from the support chat?
Or, as always, are you proud of the administrative layer from your community?
Why do you need a salary, if you are interested in the project, then buy JUP, hold them and stake them and if the entire ecosystem grows thanks to you, you will also make a profit.
I believe this proposal aligns with the mass adoption of Solana protocol, jupited dex, and overall web3 use, by educating a large audience. However, I would like to make a suggestion.
In addition, the use of some Web2 tools to reach non crypto audience could further increase the desire outcome of the podcast. The majority of non crypto users lack understanding of its usecase because they don’t have accessibility, they don’t know where to find the products, or lack of available imformative material.
Therefore, having educational lectures within the podcast and expanding to audio platforms such as itunes, YT premium, spotify, etc. would be helpful.
According, to your research, the majority of people trust podcast more than they do social media. Moreover, the majority of people engage in audio podcast when, they are traveling, driving, and even at the gym.

Hey wake, my reasoning was like that because from where I live that amount is on the high end of the spectrum and I found that amount just slightly too high for people hosting podcasts. However after thinking about it, in America this is probably a ok salary so it might just be a geographical difference. Besides that, there is more you guys do than just hosting podcasts, so I understand that the salary is thought of to include all part of you guys’ labor etc.
I asked what I asked there, mainly to give them a chance to elaborate on something that I felt might be missing a little in the proposal and would help other, just silent readers, tip on the edge. I actually know that some things can be quite costly, and it would have been also a chance to convince some of the necessities.
It is by no means undervaluing, underestimating or under appreciating to ask questions that might matter to some, or at least not in my book. Also to say not to pick on folks who are saying it is a lot and taking the roundhouse jab at geographical and life perspectives and drop in like “let’s not count pennies and use a very fine tooth comb” does not resonate with me at all.
If the call out against a question to basic level stuff as in “what will equipment cost and work cost substantiate in” with examples of video and sound quality on a podcast is too much asked for and the underlying argument is “be nice, show respect, appreciate them but do not ask poor people questions or are you poor”? then we are not open for DAO discussions.
Look, not to pick on someone who picks on me, but if you think that salary is less substantial than what anyone should be offered for a basic chat-support role, I think I am not the dellusional for casting doubt on it and raising an eyebrow.
I am from EU, and tbh in the Web3 space I know far more that earn less, not that it matters, but also from US more than from Germany. It really seems a bit posh that just because asking how it is used to just comeback with that it is just pocket change so no one should ask. It is not a bad salary at all to substantially sponsor a podcast, I know 5 content creators on Youtube with a podcast and a immensly bigger audience that would lick their fingers for such a starter kit, just saying.
JUP&JUICE team consistent effort is evident in the impressive viewership numbers their podcasts achieve. Each episode is not only well structured but also thoughtfully designed, making the content both engaging and professional. The careful attention to detail in both the presentation and production demonstrates a clear commitment to quality, which undoubtedly contributes to the growing audience and success of the Jup&Juice podcast. Their dedication to delivering high caliber content continues to strengthen their reputation and impact, full support from smolcat
Fabulous! Look forward to it!
It’s my pleasure!
Super well put together proposal, the ask is very modest - they definitely could have asked for more. I think that is honorable.
JUP & JUICE maxi
I would add some budget for a more part time or full time editor in the future, will be a lot easier to recruit someone when you guys get funding and have a specific slot to facilitate that. $5000 not enough from my experience for 3 months.
holy! this is such a detailed feedback. Questions make sense. I’m excited how the team will answer these. Thank you, Merlin!
+1. I think most of the budget won’t be used so it’s fine. All costs will have receipts so W. Good luck, guys!
Hey Merlin!
I hear you on this - I hope it did not come across as an attack and although I chose your input to respond to - it was really a response to the several messages calling out budget, not only yours.
I hear how mentioning geographical differences can come across as a stuck up type of attitude, that’s not my goal at all. One of the things I appreciate about Jupiter is that people from ANYWHERE can make a
substantial living and do well for themselves.
Still, there is a diversity of view points here and I’d love for everyone to do very well in this space, not only folks from certain backgrounds. But that also, goes both ways - I love the idea of standardizing based on the earning potential of higher income places as opposed to lower. There is a response from someone here that appreciated the perspective that life situations and geography absolutely do play a role in the way we look at compensation.
I like this proposal, a YES from me
Podcast is one of the space you can get undiluted truth, fact about product, project though some may ends in controversial but fun though, I will be looking forward to the proposal votes next week.
One thing I love about Jup and Juice is the professionalism.
The amount of twitter spaces I join and people are just talking non-sense is outstanding.
With JUP AND JUICE we talk about relevant things going on in the Jup ecosystem.
Right now we are on the hunt for an editor, ideally he or she will be a catdet.
Come chill bring juice glad you discovered us
You defs don’t want me then if you’ve seen some of my uplink bounty submissions
Wish I could help , however
We are aiming to be transparent as possible
so pls come to Jupiters discord voice channels and see for yourself’s.
Simply put 40+ hours plus each week,
Each day varies interms of hours,
we work 6 - 7 days a week,
I allow for a day off but can’t remember the last time one of us took a full day off,
I would say more than 70% of our work is done in public (Jupiters discord voice chats).
It’s only possible because we don’t see it as work, it feels like having fun being & productive with my friends.
Hope this gives some deeper insight
That’s super kind AG
