Far reaching concepts here. Only serves the community in a positive way! Glad to know there is plenty of work being done in this arena, as people are nuts for podcasts these days.
Also, there is already a podcast out there for J&J? I had no idea until now!

I think this is good feedback but I worry about this level of counting pennies on a proposal - People sometimes underestimate or under appreciate the formidability of the DAO and treat things with a very fine tooth comb, without giving them the chance to flourish. I hear this is absolutely a look at equipment in particular, but I still am concerned there is a lot of undervaluing here.
Just to mention compensation, this is actually less substantial than the compensation I was offered in the US for a basic chat-support role… and that included benefits and stock options, plus much less individual responsibility.
Not to pick on folks who are saying it is a lot, but I worry that people think about things too often from their own geographical and life perspective, and do not take into account the massive responsibility that a workgroup actually is.

So much hard work has been put in so far with no finanical gain… Imagine what the team can achieve with a solid financial backing and the tools to project the DAO whilst showcasing their amazing talent

This is great info and a great feedback, thank you.
We’ve put tremendous effort into finding the right equipment in the right price range to be able to do what we want without breaking the bank. Sax is knowledgeable in the equipment area and I fully support his choices, the microphones were so huge for us!
The salary isn’t based on content delivery, it’s based on quantity of work.
If we pass the vote, it will allow us to do continue focus on the WG.
We are already working full-time+ on J&J efforts, the trial will allow us to improve work-life balance that has been missing, as well as focus on the WG as mentioned. This will allow us to improve in many areas of output, I hope you meet your expectations and strive to exceed them everyday.

It will be best compared to full-time+ for myself and Sax and part-time+ for Irish, although the scrappy nature of DAO work means that it’s hard to nail down an exact number.
But we certainly won’t be slowing down…
We’ll be speeding up as we learn and improve too!

Very great proposal.
It is great to see the quality of proposals going up overtime. This is one of the greatest yet. I have confidence in the team as they have shown their constant engagement in the community (with Irish planning events for example or all of them being in the catdet café). Even though I haven’t watched many of their podcasts to grade it, it is important to give these guys a chance as this is what the DAO budget is actually for. I hope to see more of this, since this type of stuff not only helps the jupiverse, but also helps catdets utilize their talent.
Regarding the budget, I have mixed feelings because of previous proposals, but even so it is still a trial budget what is probably bound to change. Imo it is a bit high but not excessively high, however I still have confidence that they will put it to great use. At last, I wanted to know if the team had any targets they would like to hit (like viewcount, participation etc.)?
I have high hopes for this team and I am rooting for the passing of their proposal!

We’ve prioritized working in public since day 1 and will continue to do so!
In terms of the budget, could you elaborate on why it’s a bit high? We’ve tried to be as conservative as possible.
