Here are my main Points on why Stakers should be included, maybe i can make you think twice.
1. Stakers contribute to JUP’s stability:
Stakers play a crucial role in maintaining the stability of the JUP Price.
2. ASR is a reward for staking, but stakers should still be recognized:
I understand that ASR is tied to staking as a reward, but if holding JUPsol or JLP is part of the criteria for recognition, then stakers should also be included. Staking isn’t just about earning rewards, it should be counted as interacting with Jup and its products.
3. Staking and voting are top-tier interactions:
Staking and voting on proposals should be considered high-value interactions with JUP products. These actions go beyond just holding tokens—they’re about engaging in the governance and growth of the platform. Staking is not passive; it’s an active way of supporting the ecosystem.
4. Jupuary should include stakers:
While Jupuary is designed to engage new users, many of these new users could also be stakers who have already contributed to the platform. They’ve already interacted with JUP products by staking and voting, and that engagement should be recognized as part of their community involvement.
5. Staking is an interaction with JUP products:
Ultimately, my argument is that staking should be recognized as a form of interaction with JUP products. Stakers are not just holding tokens—they are actively supporting and securing the ecosystem, and that contribution should be acknowledged.
You may not agree but hopefully you can see where i am coming from.
