Proposal:
Removal of Bridge Comparator from Jupiter Exchange.
Executive Summary:
Because of ownership and management issues, I suggest removing the Bridge Comparator from Jupiter Exchange. While its external ownership and management coincide with Jupiter’s goal of onboarding users to Solana and the new META, they serve as third party to Jupiter platform’s control and user experience. Eliminating it will guarantee our users a smooth and independent experience.
Reasons for Removal:
- Ownership: Jupiter does not own the Bridge Comparator because there is a front-end redirection to the appropriate bridge Dapps, raising questions regarding control and possible conflicts.
-
Management: The user experience and support result from its external management.
-
User Experience: In keeping with the objectives of our platform, eliminating the comparator will guarantee a unified and Jupiter-focused experience.
-
Security and Risk: Removing the comparator reduces potential vulnerabilities, however external integrations can still provide security problems.
Advantages of Elimination
-
Improved User Experience: A simpler, Jupiter-controlled interface.
-
Enhanced Security: Decreased possibility of outside security intrusions.
-
Better Control: Jupiter continues to have authority over API services and user interface.
-
Consistency: Complies with Jupiter’s objective of offering a stand-alone platform.
Conclusion: I recommend removing the Bridge Comparator from Jupiter Exchange to ensure a seamless user experience, maintain control, and minimize security risks.
