Proposal: Collaborative Content Sharing Platform for the Jupiverse

Proposal: Collaborative Content Sharing Platform for the Jupiverse

Context and Objective

The concept is to create a collaborative platform where Jupiverse members can upload and share their creations (images, videos, social media assets, etc.) in two formats: one version with text in their local language and a “blank” version without text. The objective is to provide the community with adaptable resources, allowing members to customize content in their own language and tailor it to local needs.

Main Objectives

  • Universal Accessibility: Facilitate access to Jupiter resources in multiple languages, enabling countries with fewer resources to actively engage in the ecosystem.
  • Resource Centralization: By bringing together all creations in a central hub, contributors can easily access and adapt resources for local campaigns without having to start from scratch.
  • Time-Saving and Simplification: Ready-made resources allow the community to focus on translation and adaptation, leaving design concerns aside.
  • Strengthening Community Cohesion: Encourage collaboration and foster a spirit of mutual support within the Jupiverse by offering shared tools and a solid base of content.

Key Platform Features

  • Content Upload: A space where creators can upload content (visuals, videos, tweet templates, etc.), with options to freely access files. Creators can upload “blank” versions (no text) or versions with text in their local language, enabling further customization by other members.
  • Content Library: A centralized gallery where users can browse and download available files, organized by content type (images, videos, social media assets).
  • Collaboration and Feedback Area: A commenting feature where users can share feedback, suggest adaptations, or request help with translations.

Structure and Management

  • Open Access with Light Moderation: An open-access model that allows any member to upload content, with light moderation to ensure the quality and relevance of shared resources.
  • Creator Credits and Recognition: Each creation will include the original creator’s name, ensuring credit for their contributions.

Benefits for the Jupiverse

  • Accessibility and Personalization: By offering blank and localized versions, each user can easily adapt content to their language, enhancing impact and reach.
  • Resource Optimization: Members can leverage existing creations, reducing the time and effort needed to create new visual and written materials.
  • Engagement and Mutual Support: This platform supports a collaborative spirit within the Jupiverse, strengthening community bonds and facilitating the sharing of local initiatives.

Remarks and Conclusion

@chaman mentioned that this project also interests groups working on regional initiatives. Currently, teams retrieve content (images and videos) bit by bit from other workgroups’ social media, and this content often needs to be re-edited to change voiceovers and/or text into languages other than English.

By joining forces in a common space, the Jupiter community can multiply its impact by making resources available to everyone, regardless of language or location. This platform represents a collaborative and inclusive advance, ensuring that every Cadet can fully participate in Jupiter’s growth in their native language.

This platform could be hosted on the DAO’s website, jup.eco, or on an independent website.

What do you think? Any further ideas to enrich this proposal?

This could be the subject of an independent working group, which would be responsible for preserving and classifying all the content of the other working groups.

We could call it the Archive Working Group, and the aim would be to give community members access to a Jupiter database in which they could retrieve any published content by keyword search.

From there, everyone could create their own recipe to feed their AI models to generate new content in line with the brand’s image in a multiplicity of rich and varied styles.

There are are already soooo many art and nft apps/EXs to the point of over inundation. Personally I say let jup.ag stay the tool that is is for DeFi without adding unnecessary features. If I totally misunderstood the assignment I apologize ahead of time!
