A project this big should have it´s official Telegram Channel! And I want to help this come true, by helping manage the telegram group, hiring moderators and also creating regional telegram channels for each of the main regions from where we have investors (JUP Stakers)
Of course we should start with only the official group in English and then after it´s properly working we can advance the meta to new regions!
For that purpose of course we will need a small budget to hire good commited people and to install some moderating tools but thats all cheap investment compared to the reach it´ll bring.
Though the proposal is nice but it seems to team that their is alot of skem going on, on telegram to other social media. I high rate of bot on telegram is uncontrollable.i think Twitter, discord, Reddit and Forum is awesome to telegram.
Then I guess there shouldn’t be one after all. There are plenty of places people can educate and inform about what’s happening with Jupiter - like the forum, twitter, reddit, discord. IMO it’s more than enough
While I like TG and run a lot of grps, from 50 to even 250k members, I sadly have to admit that at one point it becomes more of an bot filtering engagement funnel, than even a real utility set.
I know there is always the argument of catering to a certain type of customer, aka those that prefer TG.
But also the reality is dillution, because as long as no TG exists, they are forced to go to the Discord, which means you do not get em all, but you get some.
At the same time by offering and growing a strong TG, you would see people wandering off the Discord and Forums.
There are no users, other than Community Managers that honestly have the mindset of going to every Hub of a Community.
One will always be preferred and get prio, while a different one will be neglected.
Agreed. JUP should be on all social platforms, right? Everyone has their preference… and maybe that’s telegram for some. I think if we really put our thoughts together, we can put a Jupiter twist on this and show some innovation utilizing both platforms…
