NavyAI | JupLFG Application Proposal

Dear ladies and gentlements from Jupiter team! We’re NavyAI, the first on-chain AI protocol layer on Solana which raised from Delphi Digital CEO, Founder XAI and many more Angles, VCs on the seed round. Today, we want to spread our kindest words about NavyAI to Jup community. All of us in below article, thank you and glad to be here!

The Pioneering AI Layer Protocol on Blockchain: Revolutionizing AI Model Training and Self-Learning

In the rapidly evolving world of artificial intelligence (AI), the need for accessible, efficient, and robust platforms for AI model training has never been greater. Recognizing this, we are proud to introduce the first AI Layer protocol built on-chain, designed to revolutionize the way AI models are trained and developed. Our platform is dedicated to making sophisticated AI technology accessible to everyone, allowing users to create their own AI large language models (LLMs) simply by providing input prompts.

Under the support of the Decentralized Computing Network, we are currently also in the testing phase of Nav3-lite, our smallest size model. Boasting 4.9 billion parameters and offering two context lengths (4K and 128K tokens), Nav3-lite represents our commitment to providing high-quality, efficient AI solutions that cater to a wide range of applications and environments.

Key Features of Nav3-lite

  1. Best Quality-Cost for Size: Nav3-lite outperforms models twice its size, delivering exceptional quality while maintaining cost efficiency. This makes it an ideal choice for projects where budget and performance are equally critical.
  2. CPU and GPU Compatibility: Whether you’re running on a cloud server, an on-premise setup, or even on-device, Nav3-lite ensures seamless compatibility. This flexibility allows users to deploy the model in various environments without worrying about hardware limitations.
  3. Blazing Fast Inference Speed: One of the standout features of Nav3-lite is its incredible inference speed. This ensures real-time processing and responses, making it suitable for applications that require quick decision-making and minimal latency.

Upcoming Versions: Nav3-small

In addition to Nav3-lite, we are excited to announce the development of larger versions within the small models category: Nav3-small. This model will feature approximately 6 billion parameters, offering enhanced capabilities while still maintaining the efficiency and speed that Nav3 is known for. The Nav3 series is designed to bring cutting-edge AI performance to a broad range of users, from individual developers to large enterprises, ensuring that everyone has access to powerful and efficient language models. All models will be open-sourced in August.

Empowering Users with Simplified AI Model Creation

Our platform democratizes AI model creation by offering a user-friendly interface where individuals can develop their own AI LLMs with minimal effort. By simply inputting prompts, users can harness the power of advanced AI without needing extensive technical knowledge. This innovative approach leverages resources from decentralized GPU platforms like io.net and Render Network, ensuring that even complex AI tasks are within reach for all users.

GPU Contribution Program: Harnessing Collective Power for AI Training

The backbone of effective AI training lies in robust graphics processing units (GPUs). Typically, high-demand AI tasks require GPUs from the NVDA 30 or 40 series for Windows, and M2 Max or M3 chips for macOS. However, the scarcity of these high-end configurations poses a significant challenge. In response, Navy AI has launched the GPU Contribution Program, inviting individuals with various GPU specifications to contribute to the AI training process.

Participants can easily submit their GPU details through our website interface, where key information such as IP address and graphic card model is collected. Our engineering team then aggregates these resources, optimizing them for high-demand AI training tasks. This collaborative approach not only maximizes resource utilization but also fosters a sense of inclusivity within the AI development community.

Uniqueness and Inclusivity

With its decentralized GPU Network, NavyAI provides a cost-effective and easy-to-use solution for individuals, startups, and small businesses. This approach ensures that everyone can access the most optimal Large Language Model (LLM) for their needs without incurring excessive expenses.

Key Highlights

  • NavyAI has successfully closed a seed funding round with the participation of over 100 esteemed angel investors and venture capital firms.

  • NavyAI’s beta testing phase for its LLM and GPU contribution program has received over 542K+ Builder LLM Requests, 6249 contributed GPUs, and 224 merged GPUs.

Reads good on first glance, do not take it as criticism but more curiosity and wanting to get a hold of “the proof in the pudding”.

Maybe it slipped my eye or I did not catch it, or by intention, I do not find much as in like Linkedin or team overview by identities. There are some impressive claims in the employee structure, so call me old fashioned but it would help me grasp better to see some Linkedin profiles and get the feeling of realitiy here.

Exactly my thoughts as I went back 2 times to see if I missed it. No pictures, names, no links to profile of developers, founders etc. But the project sounds solid on reading as it looks as if it brings together a lot of aspects of AI under one project. These are critical information that shouldn’t be miss in such an introduction of a project to a DAO for consideration.
