My next proposal wants to outline a fun and educational initiative: a monthly Jupiter Quiz Competition! called JUP K.A.R.E. (Knowledge And Rewards Earning)
The Goal:
Educate: Deepen our understanding of Jupiter products, functionalities, and activities.
Engage: Foster the PPP attitude and spirit through friendly and fun competition.
Reward: Incentivize active participation with $JUP prizes or even some kind of jup merch at the beginning - there’s gotta be some sort of a snack for our hungry tummies
How it should Work:
Platform: We could utilize a Discord QuizBot (similar to Kamino Finance).
Frequency: Hold at least 2 quizzes per month.
Format:
10-15 multiple-choice questions per round.
20-25 seconds to answer each question by thicking the correct checkboxes
Real-time leaderboards to track progress.
A dedicated CAT mod to energize the competition with fun facts and humor.
“The quiz should be available in a specific timeframe, at least 3-4 days to reach as many cats as posible!” @JD-SOL84 's idea
“Offer at least 3 days before the quiz is avilable a lesson/study guideline about the items within the Jupiverse that would be included on that quiz.” also @JD-SOL84 's idea, btw J.D. hope ur OK with me adding this
The Prize Pool:
Source:
Utilize some of the unclaimed $JUP tokens from the first ASR session (exploring this as a first option fosters sustainability).
Alternatively, consider sourcing from project funds if necessary - maybe community wallet?..even though using ASR leftovers would be a better idea from my POV.
If would be jup merch, then we need some talented cats that can provide the merch with the help of the team.
Total Prize / quiz sesh: $500 worth of $JUP tokens (approximately $400-450 USD at current price). We could have an entire year of quizz sessions, like 24 of them.
Distribution:
Top 10 winners on the leaderboard receive a portion of the prize pool.
Graduated rewards from 1st place (150 $JUP) to 10th place (15 $JUP).
Winners claim prizes through a ticketing system like the existing “general-ticket” channel.
Boosting Engagement:
Points System: Award points for correct answers and quick responses.
Bonus Points: Consider bonus points for the fastest answers to add an extra layer of excitement.
Multiple Correct Answers: Award bonus points to users who correctly identify all correct answers for questions with multiple options.
Staking Incentive for Top Winners(This one would be sick ):“Stake it till you make it!” To further incentivize long-term investment in Jupiter and support the project’s growth, I propose the following: winners from the top 10 who choose to stake their $JUP prizes will receive a bonus of 50% of their winnings. For example, a winner who earns 100 $JUP can effectively stake 150 $JUP by participating in this incentive. This will encourage more $JUP to be locked up, by same 30 days rule for unlocking…another way to contribute to the project’s long-term health and security while aligning winners’ interests with the project’s success.
Benefits for Jupiter:
Increased User Engagement: Attract new cats and keep existing ones active and with full belly.
Enhanced Community Building: Foster a sense of CATmaraderie and friendly competition.
Improved User Education: Reinforce understanding of Jupiter products and features.
Next Steps:
If this proposal gains community support, implementation details can be explored by the Team in any way they want it.
And not to forget an important aspect: building a robust question bank about Jupiter will be crucial for long-term quiz sustainability.

Would appreciate if you share your thoughts, suggestions, and pawsitive energy!
Hahaha love it, everyone loves a good quiz. Only thing I’d say is not everyone uses discord and not everyone speaks English. Just some thoughts, not big ones I’ll admit
I think it’s a great initiative! JUP K.A.R.E. It’s a super fun way to learn about the Jupiter ecosystem while we all participate and share knowledge. In addition, the prizes in $JUP add extra motivation to be attentive and quick with responses. These types of dynamics really help strengthen the community and make everyone feel more connected to the project. I’m definitely in!
Love the idea the only thing is please make it easy to find that is the only issue I have is trying to find things sometimes… I know it’s not because I’m OLD.
Thank you a bunch for ur feedback. Hmmm…from my POV discord is still the best place to do a quiz…at least for those used with it. But if u have other ideas of social platforms to reach out as many jup lovers with a potential quiz competition, please share them
As for the part with speaking English… most quiz bots on Discord offer language options. This feature allows users to take the quiz in their preferred language so this problem would be solved.
My 2 cents… Tho I realise the impact it can have, I am, in general, not a big fan of monetary incentives for what should be organic engagement. However, I think this has potential, and the best way to prove that is by doing it? A lot of community proposals lately feel to me like they could be good or bad depending on execution, so I think best thing to do is do it and prove it works🫶
Uuuuuuu!!! lochie raising the stakes here!!! I would be down for a quiz with VC 100% ! would be freaking awesome! bigger oportunity to get to know each other better and have a little fun in the meantime
Hahahahah, thanks Tee for supporting the idea! Yea we definitely could make it easy to find! like create a channel specially for this quiz competition…like call it “quiz” or “cats & quiz” or “jup quiz” …pretty sure you could find it easily this way if u set the notis on for it
Wow! It would be a great idea. We could create some kind of a customized Kahoot quiz? like with space, cats and jup related stuff? not sure if u can create a custom made theme with specific jup details…cause i didnt use it before :D…but definitely this is a slick idea!
And of course we could make the quiz with jup merch. In fact I agree that this would be better…at least at the begining and then we can see if its gaining traction than we could raise the stake with some $jup bonus…anyways this part of rewarding I would gladly let the team to decide!
Thank you for ur ideas!
Hey Scarlet! Your feedback is always golden for me and bet is valuable for all of us . Thank you for making time to read this.
Regarding the rewards thingy, I just responded to @xianxlb and saying that we could definitely do something non-monetary. jup merch would be perfect and tbh I would love to have some kinda merch with jup , cause I dont have any…is there any available btw?
I also think that this part of rewarding should be decided by the team anywayz
I watch closely the Kamino community and engaged in their last quiz sessions, and like it a lot. They have monetary incentives in $KMN tokens, that’s where my idea started in the first place
Have you thought about adding non-monetary rewards, such as roles in the Discord community, to further motivate participation?
What criteria will be used to select the questions for each quiz round, and how will you ensure that the difficulty level is balanced to keep both new and experienced users engaged?
Hey @Ayn0n, yea this one would be only with jup, it would be a jupiter related quiz only. Wouldn’t be a fun thing to have? What do you think? Especially if it would have some kind of incentives for the most devoted cats, even if it would be some jup merch, it would be something exciting.
Thanks for your feedback @n0tdapo. Yes, been replying to this ‘rewards detail’ to others too. We could definitely have a non-monetary reward system, like jup merch or even jup roles…tbh never thought about this one, it would be very interesting and a valuable ‘asset’ as the stake of a quiz . golden idea!
As far of the criterias to select questions for each quiz round, I would let the team to decide them. But personally, I would do something combined with:
general and basic knowledge about jupiter, and jupiter products - this should cover all kinds of user types, newly engaged users or those experienced one. think this category of questions should not be more than 30-40% of the quiz, this should keep interest for new comers and them wanting to evolve and be able to correctly answer the harder ones.
the advanced section of questions, these would be for more experienced users, used with all stuff related to jup, max 40% of quiz session
and the rest of 10-20% of questions should be the ones that makes the difference between top #1-3 users and the rest of others
i think the pool of data and information is pretty rich when it comes to jupiter as a project so I don’t see a problem finding questions that should cover all those criterias based on users level of experience
yes we could definitely do something similar, and give roles as rewards. but if I think deeper now, the only role that should be given through a quiz would be a catdet role (otherwise should create a new one for the quizers, but don’t think would be a good idea)… and I think catdet role should be the prize for #1 user, the winner…at max…cause I know a lot of cats that worked their asses for that role, and it wouldn’t be fair just to give this role to all those that answer questions in a quiz …there should be more than knowing stuff about jupiter to become a catdet, have to prove that ur active in discord, help others, be kind with others, get involved in activities, create content, give feedback for products and so on.
