I’m currently mining on mobile, is there a separate place to incinerate mining tokens? Levelling up using tokens to make mining more efficient, or short-term time. I’m curious. I have to win first place.
Do you plan to incorporate any anti scam AI mechanisms into your wallet?
There is a significant problem on Solana with new users consistently getting rekt and never coming back. A real solution to scam NFTs and scam transactions would be identification with AI (i.e. analyse/simulate the transaction and warn user of the scam transaction they are accepting or the NFT to blacklist from wallet). However, scammers can hyper optimise their scams to avoid the AI too, so the wallet would need to be updating their AI. Do you guys currently have any mechanisms to deal with scam NFTs, tokens and scam transactions?

Generally speaking you don’t want burn (incinerate?) your tokens right now.
As far leveling up your mining, your best best is keep the UpRock running on a stable connection and user your referral link to invite friends and family to boost your earn rate.

Actually since we take a hybrid approach with a managed wallet (more on this topic), you don’t have to worry about scam tokens in your UpRock wallet. For example, you’ll never see a scam token in your Binance or Coinbase wallet because it’s not listed/whitelisted. All the while, you can still transfer your UpRock tokens and NFTs to a wallet you own completely.
We do have some ideas on creating a better, open scam database for Web3 though, Will post an update when we’re ready to share more! Thanks for asking this important question on security.
Hello! I joined UpRock the day before yesterday. Today my connection was slow, so I logged out and then logged in again and the token disappeared. The referral link is also new, so it seems to be a new account. Discord has reported the same problem on report-bug.

Sharing “Idle Internet” as you explained is meaningless IMO. If this product is just another shady residential vpn service, just claim so in your project details. Otherwise explain how the myth of “sharing bandwidth” works, as my “sharing” does not increase any other user’s bandwidth, and it only can possibly make it look like the user’s location is my location, and nothing else.
There are many red flags with such projects (the Grass project is also similar).
Hi, thanks for sharing your concerns. We totally understand your hesitation because there are a ton of fake VPNs and browser extensions out there that violated customer trust in the past. They are always built by anonymous companies that offer the product completely free (because you are the product).
This is the reason why we actually do not build browser extensions because it is easier to compromise your browsing privacy vs native stand-alone apps, which are harder to build but cannot access your browser history. Explanation here.. It’s also why we’re transparent about who we are and what we’re actually doing with the data. We are putting our reputation on the line, for what it’s worth. And we take the web3 approach about being transparent about what type of data tasks people are paying for.
For example, our partner Koii, a desktop-first DePIN network, thrives on real-world compute tasks like health checks on websites or making sure nodes actually load when pinging them or inflation tracking by monitoring travel sites through real devices for utmost accuracy. You can only do these tests through unique mobile IPs, so many companies are willing to pay for this service.

This is only possible through a mobile network of real devices without getting blocked or throttled. In a depin network, every device worldwide can give an accurate picture of what the internet looks like in real-time in any specific location, and in return the device owner gets rewarded for “sharing their internet”. This is actually a valuable service that companies are willing to pay for and has nothing to do with your personal browsing history.

Please briefly talk about your user acquisition strategy at a high-level and talk about the campaigns you have run to attain what seems like an Impossible non-believable level of growth.. Your X account only shows 1k followers. UpRock’s follower count is 100k+ but your posts show very low ratio of engagement. Inconsistent.
Please explain why there is such a high number of users in Nigeria. A place known to be a hotspot for scammers.
You are touting the collection and mining of user’s private behavioral data (“artifacts”) without addressing the elephant in the room - privacy and sovereignty? Facebook and every “centralized” company does this. They watch us, use it to profit, sell, manipulate. We the people are cut out. It’s a hard problem… we understand. But perhaps you should talk about your thoughts on this. And also mention what happened to user data from the sale of your previous companies.

Rewards via CPU sharing vs AI agent are 2 entirely separate things. This is an unfocused business prop. It’s been expressed here many times. My guess is you are trying to take advantage of the hype involved with AI/LLMs/GPTs - which is fine. But you can probably easily have that stand on its own legs. If its so useful, people should be willing to pay for it.
I advise you refrain from touting about “decentralization of AI”, or giving the impression of democratizing AI. You clearly said in prior post that you are taking centralized approach currently and that true decentralization would be too expensive and hard (which is true).
Earning+Cashing-Out == Earning+Spending… practically the same thing. Except the latter is providing some small “discount” to the former.
