You are absolutely right. The storefront will give the customer a much better grasp, while like you say, the interesting followup are the rating programs and the secondary and tertiary data driven products.

Right now in this very moment, the only way to instantly run sensors on the network is only via the legacy system still on Algorand with existing sensors and existing licenses. Senor and license sales have been halted for this so, which basically means only prior users can replug their sensors. Device sales will be only re-opened in Q3 when the new onboarding on Solana is active. So for new users they still need a little patience. There will be the AmbiGo! App experience soon, which already allows to integrate via phones into the āfirst phaseā, but as Ambient wants to land on Solana asap, the new user sensor onboarding will happen in Q3 when all of the legacy system is fully converted to Solana.

Ambient will do this more in the future than you might expect. Right now there is a small pause in the most active comms as we are nearing the AmbiGO! App launch, the tokenomics and migration plan release. So while we are always there to reply on Discord, TG and like now here, we are not so pro-active this and next week. Like you said, words matter, but actions speak louder than words. I also agree that token utility and network loyalty is a big factor that needs to be honored. I would even take it a step further that utility needs to be in every application, be it token, the hardware or the software and app releases.
And yeah I guess you also want to see more than some sweet words āother thingsā like value and retention.

Thank you, I agree that it will be a very interesting year for Ambient Network, and I hope we can make not just the network and sensor users happy, but also resonate enough with the Jupiter and Solana audience. It would be a game changer to work all those things together and get into a thriving DePIN ecosystem together.

I really like this project. I believe that Ambient has the potential to become a leader in this field because the problems with environmental pollution and human health are deepening and measures must be taken, and for adequate measures correct and complex data is needed, which I believe Ambient can provide.
I have several sensors (for outside and for inside) for more than 2 years and I would gladly buy more, especially if there is a dashboard where I can monitor the data in more detail.
I like the idea that I can monitor the air quality at home and outside taking care of my health and that of my family and at the same time I can earn something extra. I would really like it if sensors were added besides those for air quality, especially for domestic water quality.
As far as Iām concerned Iāll happily stick with the project, and I hope many others will too.
I wish success to Ambient and to all those who really believe that we can make a difference.

Monitoring air quality both indoors and outdoors is crucial for our well-being, and I agree that having a (far more) detailed dashboard (than in the past) would enhance the experience especially for taking care and acting on findings.
Your suggestion about adding sensors for domestic water quality is also excellent! Clean water is essential, and having a comprehensive system that covers both air and water quality would be incredibly beneficial. Iāll make sure to pass this feedback along to the team. It would be nice to have it, I only think that 2024 might be out of scope there, as the first real challenge is the Solana launch and adoption into bigger deployment and especially broader business case application.
Your commitment to the project and your hope for positive impact are inspiring. Letās continue working together to create a healthier environment for everyone.

Is there more information in regards to the Hardware you have approved for this data? I was unable to find it on the website. do you guys plan to create your own hardware in the future or open source some specs required for sending data to this platform?

I hope it is not one āof thoseā apps that lets people chase airdrops at end of the tunnel, after the last years it seems a go to for investor driven projects that think anyone should build big numbers and abuse human engaement like Pi, Bee, Natix and Silencio while losing any clear path along itās way.
Would be nice to see the tokenomics soon and for them to be something sustainable with long term good ROI reward on hardware sensors. Just no early mining hype with sharp falloff on congestion.
