Hello guys that’s the first time I post in the forum, I hope the category I selected is the right one. If not please move it.

So I saw Slorg posting on Twitter about how often people lose money on meme coins because we are all waiting for the 100x.

I would suggest a new feature like the DCA, VA etc. APT (automated profit taking)

The user can buy a coin and configure than when this trade goes for example to 10x it will cash out 10% of the entire position on n USDC or SOL, etc.

I have been in the situation where a coin has gone to 20x in 2-3 days where I was inactive and when I saw it, it was at 5x where I cashed out. With this kind of a feature I could have configured a % of cash out.

It has similarities to a limit order but it’s a bit more complex.

Just an idea and I felt that I have and to want to share that with you. I have not been tracking the forum and maybe someone in the past has proposed this. I am sorry if this is the case.

so effectively a limit order for selling when price hits x?

Cant we already do this?

Ofc you can do this manually. But like that you could configure at the buy time when to cash out something and how much %.

According to my experience, it seems to me more a trading strategy rather than a functionality to be honest. Tradingview has a lot of features in which you can create one using codes. Chat GPT can help you write these codes as well…After that it is a matter of manual or automative process really that is what I think.

I would definitely as well have a stop loss. These kind of ideas, trading strategies, which i would fully support need a well structured algorithm and even better if they can somehow fit in the DCA, VA template, even if you change some values of those fields, maybe add some extra features. Ideas as worth anything until they are realized. :nerd_face:
