if stakers won’t get the airdrop, they will simply not vote for it
simple as that
and honestly I think it’s a good thing to have some tokens burned

Jupuary should include the staker who has never withdrawn any jup from begging instead they have kept adding with time it shows long time commitment and jup should be in hand of Ppl like them…JUP is home and we will renovate our home with this jupuary.J4J
Aint no way there wont be something for stakers. It wouldnt make fair.
Not PvP. Meow so far seems to be making an incredibly positive distinction between users and stakers, while acknowledging you can also be both.
Its in the best interest of the DAO to vote for Jupuary as distinct from the ASR.
If they stakers broadly can’t support Jupuary as a distinct community building exercise, then at least people like myself will be able to sell and move on knowing that the largest stakers view this as a short term stake ponzi, not a long term hold.
In saying that I still think staking can and ought to have some kind of rewards associated in Jupuary, but it should not be front and centre and it needs to be completely distinct from ASR.
Yeah I think that’s the reason they’re considering a bonus for them.
That was from voter-only perspective—but hey, who’s not using Jupiter these days!?
Can’t wait to see how this experiment turns out.
Much love JUP
As a staker, 100% voter, and platform user, I am good with Jupuary being for users. I would defer to the team or others feedback on the % of the penalty or reward system to be implemented.
The one part of Jupuary that is most contentious is the staking aspect. I suggest that the Jupuary airdrop not be automatically staked. This method would create more genuine users since people would choose between instant claim, delayed claim, holding, dumping, trading, staking, etc… It would also effectively mitigate DAO ASR dilution by not forcing everyone into the DAO. Users are welcome and encouraged to join the DAO, but not required to. This is the most “right” way to give a gift to users, grow the Jupiverse, and protect loyal, long-time DAO member’s voting power, all at the same time.
Not a bad reasoning at all.
Thanks meow! Admire your ethos and hard work. Just to add my voice to the cacophony of voices, I will love and hodl $JUP regardless, but… The people that hold AND STAKE $JUP are absolutely part of the Jupiverse, and arguably are the ones who MOST believe in the long term potential and vision of the project. We lock our tokens for 30 days, which means we won’t sell for any quick pumps…WE ARE the community. We are the ones who will not dump a Jupuary drop. I don’t really understand this idea of making that seperate from other platform activities, it isn’t, and it shouldn’t be. There is no “double dipping,” on ASR and Jupuary for stakers….it is simply two different rewards for two equally valuable ways of participating in $JUP growth…. I agree that Jupuary shouldn’t ONLY be based on staking of course, but to not include that factor when calculating a drop will alienate longtime supporters. Again, I for one will not sell my JUP regardless of how this shakes out, but these are my thoughts. I imagine others may feel the same. Thanks for all you do!
Thank you, Meow, for your dedication and vision in building the Jupiverse. Your commitment to thoughtfully navigating this decision shows how much you value the community. Regardless of the outcome, it’s clear that you have JUP’s best long-term interests at heart. Proud to be a part of this journey!
