I voted Against bc i have a lot of questions. Who is overseeing the CWG? What is the timeline for these projects? What is the budget (i want to see a spreadsheet breaking out expenses and an explanation of how it is being funded) and who is the CFO overseeing the budget? Can we schedule one or two video conference townhalls? I’d like to be introduced to the proposed CWG members, hear the proposal, and hear from stakeholders. I am all for making Jupiter the No. 1 Defi exchange on the planet, but i dont feel comfortable with voting for this based on blind trust.

What would be the measures implemented to ensure that the CWG is on track with their goals and priorities? Are there any metrics, and can we see them? Putting down what you have achieved so far is really great. And listing down your future goals also gives optimism. My thoughts may be all over the place, but from what I’ve read from the proposal, what we’re missing are measures for celebrating wins and accountability and resolution for setbacks.
I think at the end of the day this proposal is very much streamlined and are headed by some of the best in the game, but we need some hard numbers along the way. IF the CWG can ensure that wins and setbacks are properly addressed then I’m all for it. I’ll be waiting for a reply before I cast my vote.

Fail or success, I mean either way this is a Butt-ton of JUP in value… and it’s only 2 years before complete dis-imbursement? Starting in only one year?
Isn’t that kinda fast?
Meaning that if they don’t deliver and Jup falls to .50 that’s still 2.5mm dollars, that’s a great bonus for failing.
People need/ should get paid but is there a way to rescind the bonus if there is no tangible progress in the product of JUP? I assume not?

The CWG have done AMA, YouTube discussions with Meow & Kash etc. Also interviewed current & future Launchpad projects etc. They have also recently held a town hall and explain most of these stuffs you are asking with videos or recordings on YouTube. Have you taken a look as most of your questions might be answered through these resources!

Is the CWG role expected to be equivalent to a full time? Is there a minimum commitment of each CWG team member? What happens if the CWG member leaves the working group during the first 3 years, with regard to the tokens vested & upcoming vesting? Are there plans to expand the CWG further? Very aware this is a tough & groundbreaking role, and looking forward to this rolling out either way. Thanks!

The proposal is very clear. The monthly salary level is reasonable depending on the country of residence, and after taxes it might even be a bit low.
However, the token allocation is way too high.

In the event that the proposal passes, I’d like to put our hand forward to be the vesting partner for the CWG vesting.
Streamflow is currently looking to collaborate with Meteora on token locking and is also interested to provide services for this use case as well to help drive forward governance and DAOs on Solana.
We hold JUP and are actively voting on Launchpad candidates as well as existing proposals.

Good succinct layout. I have a saying when it comes to business/project related budgets, “Calculate what you need, then double it”. When able, it always ends up being the better play when seeking highly competitive and high quality results. That said, performance metrics attached to the investment would be an appropriate balancer to satisfy the numerally conservative. Godspeed CWG!

Salaries and performance incentives look fine, could be even higher maybe, but the problem is the absence of KPIs. We are supposed to vote on 4.5MM JUP of performance rewards for CWG and it is not stated how this performance will be measured. This is unacceptable to submit a proposal lacking this crucial information!! The vote is clearly NO, for this reason only.

The idea of giving 4.5mm JUP bonus to 4 people is absolutely absurd! With JUP around $1.5, we are talking about $6.75 million. Unbelievable! For a highly skilled developer, $30k is a great annual bonus. $60k for 2 years. Here we are talking about a $1.67 MILLION bonus (for 2 years). That is about 27x a very generous $30k annual bonus. I love the idea behind the proposal. But the compensation is totally absurd. Please vote “NO”.

A million per person is absolutely insane compensation for a proposal this devoid of any details and specifics about how we will measure outcomes.
I’m absolutely in favor of paying people for contributions but this is literally a grift to expect to be paid millions for what’s outlined here.

The CWG’s commitment to skyrocketing the Jupiverse towards a new era of decentralized finance deserves every penny and every JUP in this proposal.
Their expertise and dedication is extremely valuable and irreplaceable which was proven in last three months.
Anyone with high goals and vision for where Jupiverse is headed will understand that we need our CWG well funded to achieve an aggressive expansion and development of BEST DAO in ecosystem!
