Don’t think the 50/50 is important. Jupuaries are important, those are happening.

Meow does have talent worth $220mil, I’m happy to give the guy that gave us billions $220mil instead of not giving it for the sake of an arbitrary 50/50 when Jupuaries are significantly contributing and evidencing towards the 50/50 ethos, as far as I’m concerned the 50/50 objective is complete
Maybe the buyback is going towards ASR rewards 
the reason I’d buyback a token is to have less circulating, add more LP or airdrops. The less circulating the better the vote counts and would matters and be considered to vote. 
The buy back may fund asr in the future when they are released, but defs not short term
ASR ends this year unless we restock it
