Would highly recommend everyone to check the youtube channel to get a quick overview. The team is fully doxxed and had an amazing AMA where they went in-depth with some technical questions.
I haven’t heard of a similar project which surprises me. The agriculture business is screaming for more efficiency and less corruption. Year after year we get news of fake olive oil, farmers being bled dry as they can’t find the right customers, etc. Agridex is the solution to this and much more. They are giving back the power both to the farmers and the customers.
Add on top of that the AgriDex DAO, this project will last for forever. I genuinly believe that this will be one of the most successful web3 projects that have a real world impact.
At the moment we use our strategic partners’ regulatory and banking relationships, we have a full Circle mint account and support from Circle itself, they’ve rightly seen the benefit of what agridex is trying to do. We are also building relationships with bridge and other on and off ramp groups, whilst building our own better in house solution long term.
As we are a matching service and a marketplace we do not take custody of our customer’s funds but rather match the trades and facilitate the transfer currently, this helps with some of the complexities
AgriDex is solving real problems in the agricultural supply chain by leveraging blockchain to increase transparency, reduce costs, and improve traceability. The project isn’t just a theoretical application of blockchain.
hanks, EnLilaSko! That’s really encouraging to hear. We’ll definitely focus on hosting more AMAs and creating additional video content. Keep an eye out for our latest videos coming out this week and next!
Regarding the DAO, as you mentioned, it’s designed to future-proof our project and product. Our goal is to realize our vision over the next 3-5 years and then let it evolve on its own. It’s similar to the early days of online shopping when things like amazon.com and ebay seemed mad , who was going to trust their credit card details and far away companies with delivering the goods they buy? So while it might seem ambitious to bring the world of food onto blockchain and crypto, this shift is approaching the agricultural sector faster than we think. We’re the first major group to take this step, particularly on Solana, which gives us a significant advantage. We’re committed to moving quickly and becoming the best in this space!
Thank you, VegTrader, super positive comments, and your right about Solana: we love the partnership and their amazing Tech. It’s interesting that you bring up cocoa, as it’s one of the main commodities we’re focusing on for our major roll-out. Despite its popularity, there are significant challenges in the growing, refining, and sale of chocolate.
From the cocoa fields to the stores where we purchase our candy bars, numerous unnecessary intermediaries drive down farmers’ wages, creating a chain of negative consequences. Cocoa farmers often receive only a small fraction of the final retail price of chocolate. This economic imbalance keeps many farmers in poverty, forcing them to rely on family labor to cut costs, which is a concerning situation. Additionally, many growers work on small plots of land and struggle to unite, making them vulnerable to exploitation by purchasing agents.
On the positive side, this situation presents an opportunity to engage a large number of people and educate them on the benefits of using crypto and blockchain, including the creation of digital wallets. If you look at our scheme with Mediae ‘Dont lose the plot’ we will be reaching several million persons, and even if only 10% actual set up wallets and buy the $AGRI token that’s still 450,000 new wallets created. These people can then benefit from the foundation steering capital into building operability for them, becoming quite a cool circular beneficial project
The team behind AgriDex includes individuals with significant experience in relevant fields such as trading, finance, blockchain technology, and strategic advisory.
The expertise of the founders and the CTO, particularly their background in high-stakes trading, blockchain development, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) investments, indicates that the project is being led by people who understand both the challenges and opportunities in this space.
Thanks Tragedy, and with the GUM initiative we can really start to do some exciting stuff - would advise taking a look at our GUM as well if you have the time
We’ve also just announced a major integration with Parrogate which I think shows our reach, I’ll put a couple of the links below
• Cryptonews Article: Tokenizing agricultural trades will transform global food chains | Opinion Piece
• Blockworks Article: AgriDex is tokenizing trades for agriculture firm Parrogate
Now’s the time for agriculture to benefit from the world of Web3 and crypto. Increasingly people rightly care about where their food comes from and how it got to them, tie that in with the massive rise in population over the next 20 years and you can see the huge demand that’s pent up for a better system - excited to have such positive feedback
Hello Agridex team!
It’s been announced that you have closed 5 mil usd pre-seed round. Do you have plans to make another round of funding?
I personally like the project and wish you luck in passing LFG candidates.
I see this project has very good potential because agribusiness is an important business because it is directly related to life. I would be very happy if their small farmers could join using this platform to trade more practically
Would be nice to hear from you about current transactions on the platform before launch. I’ve heard you have made some transactions already.
I can easily see Agridex takeover rwa in agriculture in the future.
As a small farmer like me, this platform will really help me to trade in the future, very practical and efficient. I hope the team can improve it even better so that this platform can be used by small farmers all over the world.
Hi team, after reading the article above I am very enthusiastic and excited to follow this. I got a lot of useful knowledge from this article, I hope in the future I can contribute more to this project in realizing bringing the power of web3 to the traditional agricultural sector
It’s funny how there is a lot of rwa projects in the space, but none has been really utilized agriculture yet. Hope at least this project will do it properly, at least it have all keys to succeed.
This will surely improve the lives of many farmers, traders, consumers etc. around the world. I’m very interested to see the further rollout of the project.
Agridex is on my watchlist for sure.
