Jupiter founder @Meow said important things about Jupuary in the latest J.U.P. Really. In the 4 minute video fragment he said:
''There is actually a very hot debate right now about Jupuary, and the Jupuary vote will probably be in November.
And I just want to say that I understand a lot of the fear that is going on, and a lot of the arguments on both sides. However, I do actually feel like the fears could actually be overstated.
Mainly because I do actually think…
First of all; for further Jupuary’s it will be ASR-Style, so it’s meant to roll a much larger group of people into the Jupiter community.
The first Jupuary got us here, right. And It’s actually my belief that we need to do two more Jupuary’s. To get where we want to be, we need two more years.
And I do actually think right now right now, given what Jupuary is now, we need to adopt a very strong growth mindset.
And if we manage to increase, if we manage to stay strong in the community, and we actually manage to grow the community even more, and even stronger, and loop more people into JUP, and I think that’s actually really bonding.
But at the same time there is actually a lot of arguments and a lot of fear against it. And just go to Jupresear.ch, there’s a lot of people saying / talking both ways.
By the way guys, so over here, I do actually think that the Jupuary vote is probably going to be … the / one of the most important votes and stuff, and one of the biggest DAO experiments in history.
It’s going to be a really interesting experiment to see if the community is going to vote in expansion, of the Jupiter community.
And I, by the way, if it goes through, I have a very hard job by the way. A really really hard job. Because I have to figure out kind of everything else; the criteria, the allocations, everything, things like that. So it’s actually really really hard right. But I’m up for it.
And it’s my feeling, that we need to have a growth mindset. We are early guys, we are ****ing early, we are so ****ing early, we are so early in Jupiverse, and I think with that vote, it will be all set.
Firstly, we did the token reductions and the transparency thing. That was actually really important because it forced us to be extremely transparent and clear about our tokens. Where our tokens are …
The second thing was ASR which allows us to continue for a year.
And thirdly is Jupuary. Jupuary is going to be really ****ing interesting, because as I mentioned earlier, it’s going to be a really interesting debate about the idea of dilution versus the idea of growing community, and again - done!
I feel like, for me; our community has a growth mindset, and we should go ahead. And figure out how to do that.
