Thats exactly my thoughts, that minimum 50% of 22025 Jupuary must go to DAO voters. It will help stabilize the prize and avoid volatility and dumps. And will make DAO more meaningful and more distributed.

If you say you will do an airdrop to get new users then it’s important to do so. That way you will onboard more users the next round. This is a growth period for Jupiter.

There are no fees on swaps so I don’t see what you are getting at from that point. Maybe you refer to slippage
I don’t see your Logic here, Though it Stands true w/ many of the “reg” daily Tokens and Coins.
JUP is something Different and I am sure as time goes on you will see people like @meow Literally Hand Picking People for the rewards they deserve.

Strongly agree, if they had simply said to begin with the first airdrop would be the final I don’t think anyone including myself would have had an issue. I think the engagement of a future Jupuary is well worth it, but ultimately if they renege on what clearly read repeatedly like a promise that has huge consequences imo.
That goes not simply for the team, but for the DAO which has a responsibility to uphold this in some regard. I can understand if two drops of 700m tokens is viewed as too large and compromises can be made, but to cancel it entirely would indicate a PvP not a PPP attitude that I’m not interested in supporting.

Also agree, I believe in the end the TEAM & Meow will do what’s best for all of US, only because they clearly have shown strong Loyalty and Clarity to Us as Customers , Users and Team Members also.
Like you stated, Until I see otherwise from them They have my FULL SUPPORT. Jupuary will happen and Its better to do 2 drops over 2 years than one big one of 1.4Billion. So that’s a Plus and grabbing these tokens is a huge triumph for me and Goal I have the feeling The drop and all is Already Priced in, We will see!

Well put. I can als understand Dao members but it’s getting a bit greedy. They have done well and if they thought about it longer would realise this is probably going to reward them further.

It has the same cost (not fees) of doing the same amount of volume. Around $5K in costs for $1M in volume for either perps or swaps. These are pool fees (eg. 0.25% on Raydium), slippage and price difference due to the LP size.
Jupiter could decide any time to add a 0,01% to 0,1% fee on the $340B in swap volume adding $34M - $340M extra revenue per year.
There is less than 5,000 High Volume Users ( I know I’m over 1Million & prob over 10Million) 16+ Million for first january was my fair daily use volume I don’t understand how Loyal and Dedicated users generating Such extreme volumes like I do only get a few times more than say the 150,000 user range? I mean there are only 4k of US. We do more Volume than all other tiers and USERS combined. I mean seriously I am all about Growing the PIE and IM a loyal WERE MEOW SUPPORTER but There should be some STRONG show of support for the USERS like me who there are less than 5k of who have been doing millions of dollars of volume yearly since INCEPTION of JUP… I was Labeled an O.G User the first JUPUARY - A Great story to be told is the one where I can let the NEWCOMERS know that for the last 5 Years I have been LOYALLY SWAPPING ONLY THOUGH JUP and without ever knowing I was going to receive anything I was rewarded for my O.G loyalty, Well, I am STILL only HERE on JUP and MOVING MILLIONS onboarding many and seriously I think If I was one of the other 5K SUPER DEDICATED USERS I would feel pretty underappreciated. … That’s only adding simply swap volume. I also have done millions through the PERPS & LOST millions through the PERPS & So has many in my family because we love to use the Products. along with bought Many JUP staked and VOTED with all my heart like my LIFE depended on it.
In the END I will still be here Just my 2 CENTS I mean I lost millions through HUBBLE PROTOCOL and was a USER for many YEARS and never got a simple THANK YOU. So Whatever MEOW thinks is BEST I will go with. I have no choice, but to go elsewhere…But theres No where ELSE I WANT TO BE!

I Been thinking lately maybe we should never have BURNT the 3 Billion… But then again IF we need more tokens some day to get into the hands of more people IM sure MEOW could put up a vote to MINT MORE… LIKE THE USDC TREASURY… Remember Once Anatoly saying a good economy isn’t all about Deflation Its about the Measure of Both Inflation and Deflation When Needed… It isn’t Sustainable to simple Deflate tokens Forever eventually there will be none or only in a few hands …
The ones who care about This Vision will Buy tokens Like I do or Get them for free whatever but they will spread thier opinion and take time to Listen to all who have something to say…Meow Is a Groundbreaker. You feel the stakers need more reward than WE already receive? I mean c/mon this is supposed to be to go to community - If you BOUGHT Jup and staked it then that would count toward your VOLUME, But Even I think its ridiculous to OVER-REWARD voters LIKE MYSELF who Get a HANDSOME ASR already.

I voted NO in the Jupuary vote. I think we can leverage the $JUP rewards much more effectively
Here are my thoughts.
The First Proposal (Lost)
This vote is for checking if the community is comfortable with 2 more Jupuaries of 700M JUP each. Because it is crucial that the whole community is unified, the team will be seeking a 70% yes vote.
I am a loyal supporter and investor in Jupiter and will be here well beyond this bullrun. I have a sizeable long-term position in Jupiter and cast my vote based on an assessment of the best strategy to leverage the long-term benefits from the Jupuary airdrop rewards as I see them
My reasons for voting NO
We are super early in crypto adoption
Mass adoption hasn’t even started
Jupiter is less than 1 year old! I still struggle to get my head around that!
Jupiter is well placed strategically for user growth with its fantastic mobile app
Price follows user activity - Metcalf’s Law
Growth & Success take time and Incentives/rewards
Jupuary is a fantastic incentive for growth and we can extend that benefit over more realistic growth target periods
Longer time periods allow better management of the challenges faced by rapid growth
Smaller Jupuary drops has less price impact
Lock-up periods are unnecessary IMO as a person who wants to cash out will just do it anyway after the lock up ends, you’re just delaying any likely price impact
Let the team work out the allocation/distribution model - I know they have the best interests of all JUP holders in mind
I believe we can have a second, better vote once we reach agreement on its wording - this is one of the great benefits of the DAO process (along with ASR rewards of course!) I have attempted to draft a second vote and would love everyone’s thoughts and feedback

The 2 Jupiary was promised buy the team long time ago…Now it come up with this unfair 70 percent proposals what it should not even be!!!Its something smells not good behind this with this proposals…In the end everything will go to the stalkers because they have the power of voting.All this proposals shouldn’t be at all!!!
