J4J #3: Jupuary Vote 2

Hope my wallet doesn’t get flagged as a bot as I traded manually a lot on meme coins at times. I think true bots spend like a few dollars almost always the same amount buying and selling frequently.

Really cool love the link must check it out. Do you just press run? Also looks like there are a lot of bots with a lot of volume and capital. Do you know what criteria’s are used. It looks like the team has it all well covered.

While I couldn’t find the exact criteria used for this specific table, Here’s a summary of my findings:

  1. Low Volume and Low Transaction Wallets:
  • Wallets with low trading volumes and few transactions, particularly those with balances close to zero, are clear indicators of bot activity.
  1. Snapshots Comparison:
  • When comparing two snapshots of the table, there’s an overall increase in the total number of detected bots. However, some wallets that were previously labeled as bots are no longer flagged in subsequent snapshots, indicating that the principle of “once a bot, always a bot” does not apply. This suggests that some wallets may change behavior or get cleared from bot detection criteria over time.

also these are the general patterns for bot detection:

  • Trade Patterns: Identifying unusual or repetitive trading patterns that may indicate bot activity.
  • Transaction Frequency: High-frequency transactions that are typical of automated bots.
  • Order Book Analysis: Monitoring changes in the order book that suggest bot interference.
  • Account Behavior: Tracking accounts that exhibit bot-like behavior, such as rapid trades or large volume trades.

Here’s how you can query, no need to click “Run”

When you decided to invest in JUP and brought other people in, did you do some research how much staking would give you? It’s been said that do NOT use Jupiter to get airdropped. Use it if you find it worth using, if the product is actually good.

I’m also disappointed to the performance of JUP (among many other people), but what can you do. This is crypto, it is risky and it is us who are responsible for our own choices.

You can’t blame others in your situation, especially as you haven’t got scammed or anything like that.

The Jupuary allocations will most likely get adjusted by the community feedback, so I would not lock your answer yet, before you see the official and final numbers.

Hi! I’m new to staking JUP, and I believe that the LFG is a great idea. I deposited my JUP today because I want to be part of helping the Jupiverse grow and expand. I’m trying to catch up on Jupiverse news. Regarding the Jupuary Vote 2 proposal that just passed, I like and agree with the proposal. To the community, thank you all for your hard work and participation because it makes it easier for a newbie like me to want to post and contribute. I look forward to the Jupiverse community growing in this upcoming bull run.

Welcome to the DAO. Just take your time to read. By the time you read through a lot of the topics, it gives you good idea of what is going on in here in general. While you read, you can ask questions under each topic you read that you aren’t sure of and I can 100% guarantee someone in here will respond to it almost immediately. Once more, welcome and nice to have you onboard🙌🏿

You may not want to use your signature on these emails as these are shown on a public forum and I can imagine some people may feel funny and start calling your number, Mr. Thompson.

Howdy! Does anyone know when the first Jupuary is going to be? Is there going to be two Jupuaries?

We don’t have an exact date.

We know it will be at least before Catstanbul which is Jan 25th so mid Jan is the estimate.

The second jupuary will be in Jan 0226.

There may also be one more in 2027, but I presume that won’t go to a vote until late 2026
