Ah ok. No, we’re not seeking airdrop rewards for JUPDAO members.
Think of it this way:
A lot of DAO initiatives are focused on bringing new people into the DAO (e.g. Uplink’s content marketing initiatives, J&J ecosystem podcast, etc.). Only recently has an emerging Design WG appeared which is great to see.
We’re solely focused on improving the experience of existing DAO members. At this moment in time, we’ve identified a need for existing members to be able to connect on a personal level away from the noise of X and Discord.
Also, WGs are each running their own independent project management systems in order to stay productive. We’d like to standardise that in order to maintain alignment across WGs as the DAO expands far beyond the number of WGs we have right now.
Sure but what does that mean. What does it actually entail to improve existing DAO members experience, how would it change from socials/this forum/discord/voting page. Esp when many only care about fee sharing being added to their experience and perks to keep them happy.
We’d like to provide more opportunities for people to connect in a meaningful way. There are people in our DAO who do not have a X account nor a Discord account. How do they get involved? It’s almost impossible as it is now.
We have no idea of knowing what people actually care about. That sort of information is rarely asked, collated and organised in such a way so as to be useful. Only the other day a feedback mechanism was introduced to the ASR voting system. Beyond that, we’re working off assumptions and they tend to lean towards the pessimistic side of things.
There’s a lot we can do and will do over the coming weeks and hopefully months. We’re preparing for Catstanbul now, something that was unexpected and is quite involved. It’s a great opportunity to expand on what we’re looking to do and hopefully we’ll see you there @fairysquid
