Clone Protocol Application for LFG Launchpad

Give me the elevator pitch. Give me a practical example that a 14 yr old tik tok viewer would give a damn about.

this is going so much higher

Would be awesome if this was integrated into jup agregator.

I was actually hoping Clone Protocol would be on LFG during the last Planetary Call so it’s great to see them here!

I haven’t put in the time to understand the protocol closer technically. But from what was said on the call, the vision and current implementation are definitely LFG worthy.

Projects that combine different technologies to offer something new drives the meta forward. Clone Protocol builds on the power of Solana, Pyth, and Jupiter, to create the one stop location for any token. An advantage of CEX’s is that they are highly convenient, allowing users to easily buy and sell different tokens from different chains. Cloned protocol brings that convenience to decentralized exchanges.

Your candidacy looks great and I can’t wait to review your docs. I have a question about VCs, could you write something more about their contribution to the project, I mean financing rounds, how large a pool of tokens they will receive and when?

I’ve read your docs and I think you have my vote. The Clone protocol is something useful and something I will actually use. Having access to a wide range of tokens from different chains combined with low fees is an incredible utility, and if I can do it on the Phantom wallet thanks to Clone, I even more want to vote for you. However, I have 3 more questions. 1. Will you add more tokens and when? 2. Where can I find information about the team? 3. What do you think is the biggest threat to the clone protocol and how to counter it?

Tried to connect to the site, there was an inscription that I am in a restricted area, I think if the project at such an early stage began to segment users, there is no point in contacting it, let it die quietly in a narrow circle of those they consider worthy…xD

That just means they are compliant to your local jurisdiction. I live in the US and am geolocked often. I use ProtonVPN personally, but I’m pretty sure you can access that site from any vpn.

There are no restrictions on cryptocurrencies in my jurisdiction. And I already know how to use a VPN, but why would I do that? I just won’t use this project like other people with the same stance as me… There’s a discussion going on about whether it makes sense to put them up for a vote, and I just pointed out a red flag that hints that their prospects aren’t good and it’s better to give the slot to someone else instead.

Interesting actually what you brought up there, because while reading through the introduction of the tread, your finding makes it even more unclear to me. So in some way it is not “just a nother DEX” but this cloning is more efficient with cross chain LP and whatnot, but then they have already restrictions in place for certain countries IP’s (which has the vibe of it being a bit more the same than something new) and on top you are actually from a country without restrictions?

Funny or weird, not sure yet what it is.

Any chance it is some false positive, as in like that issue just produces that error message on frontend while it is actually not your IP but rather some browser privatisation thingy (aka malware bytes addons trackerblock, Firefox Noscript or simply Brave browser) ?
